Short CV

Adriana Gogonel is a postdoctoral Research Fellow at INRIA since September 2012. She was born in Galati, Romania, in May, 1978. She is married with Lucian Gogonel and together they are the parents of two boys. Her research interests include statistics and probabilities, in particular probabilistic timing analysis in real-time and embedded systems. She completed her BSc and MSc in Statistics at Paris Descartes University in 2006 and 2008, respectively. In November 2012 she defended her PhD thesis on statistic topics (see bellow) at the University of Paris Descartes under the supervision of Pr. Avner Bar-Hen and Jérôme Collet.

Education and professional experience

  • 2012 - present Postdoctoral Research Fellow at INRIA.
  • 2008-2012 PhD of the Paris Descartes University prepared in collaboration with EDF R&D, Clamart, defended on 27 of November 2012. Thesis director : Avner Bar-Hen and Jérôme Collet. Title : Statistical post-processing methods and their implementation on the ensemble prediction systems for forecasting temperature in the use of the french electric consumption.
