Welcome

Dimitris (formally Dimitrios) E. Simos is currently an ERCIM/Marie Curie Fellow within the Project-Team SECRET of the research centre INRIA Paris-Rocquencourt located in France. Recently, he was awarded an ERCIM ``Alain Bensoussan'' Post-Doctoral Fellowship and is currently working with Nicolas Sendrier on the design and analysis of cryptographic algorithms, especially through the study of the involved discrete structures.

He received his B.Sc. in Mathematics (2006) from the University of Athens. He holds an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematical Sciences (2007) and a Ph.D. in Discrete Mathematics and Combinatorics (2011), both obtained from the National Technical University of Athens. His Ph.D. advisor was Christos Koukouvinos.

He is the author of several papers (AMS,ZBMATH,Scopus,Thomson Reuters,DBLP) in the field of Combinatorics and recent Fellow of the Institute of Combinatorics and its Applications (FTICA). He is also an Editorial Board Member (EBM) for three international peer-reviewed journals and has served as a Program Committee (PC) member for international conferences. He is organizing the International Workshop on Modern Cryptography and Security Engineering - MoCrySEn ([url] [CFP] [Poster]). He is a member of IEEE, ICA and MIR Labs, and also serves as a reviewer for various journals and conferences.

His research interests include combinatorial designs, coding theory, cryptography, symbolic computation and metaheuristics.
