We give explicit examples as illustration of the above paper. In the following, we provide Maple worksheets which deal with controllability, parametrizability, flatness and pi-freeness of some time-invariant/time-varying linear OD systems, differential time-delay systems and systems of PDE with constant or variable coefficients. The computational tool is the Maple package OreModules.

In these examples, the most time comsuming computation is that of the extension modules (see paper). We give some timings for these operations. All examples were run on a Pentium III, 1 GHz with 1 GB RAM. But these worksheets can be run also with minor equipment.
